Week 5 - Start/Sit Questions

Q: Which WR? Mushin Muhammad, Antonio Bryant, Larry Fitzgerald, Braylon Edwards, or Terry Glenn?

A:
Larry Fitzgerald -- Bench. Leinart has to prove something before any WR he's throwing to gets the starting nod. In addition Kansas City has been great against the pass this season...less than 170 yards each game and ZERO TDs allowed through three games.

Antonio Bryant -- Start. Oakland has a bad secondary. Bryant has been a big play guy this season and should produce for around 80 yards and 1 TD this week. He's a decent #2 WR and a fantastic #3 this week.

Mushin Muhammad -- Bench. Muhammad will be matched up on Nate Clements for much of the game, who is a top notch CB in the league who shut down Troy Williamson last week. Moose will get his 80 yards, but will be lucky to get a score as Grossman spreads the ball around and looks for his TEs in goal line situations. Moose will use his body and get you some fantasy points, but don't consider him much more than a #2 this week, if that.

Terry Glenn -- Bench. I think TO has a huge game this week, taking some of the action away from Glenn. Glenn has been a TD machine this season and Philly's got a great secondary who won't let that happen. If the Cowboys want to win this game, they're going to have to do it on the ground, just like last week.

Braylon Edwards -- Start. Edwards is going to be a great receiver and should put up 100 yards with a score this week on 7 or 8 grabs, despite facing a good Carolina defense that's starting to turn it around. Winslow and Edwards are the only two pass catching threats on offense, as Joe Jurevicius will slowly get more involved in the action. The Browns should be playing from behind most of the game, so Frye will have to throw a lot. Droughns is a solid start here as well.

Q: Defense; Pittsburgh Steelers or Philadelphia Eagles?

A: Pittsburgh. This is kind of the lesser of two evils. Pittsburgh is playing a San Diego offense that could put up a lot of points. The Pittsburgh defense hasn't played that well this season, but the San Diego offense is completely based around Tomlinson, who, if stopped, forces an inexperienced Philip Rivers to throw and make mistakes. The Eagles are facing an experienced Dallas squad who can put up a lot of points as well.

Very interesting insight on the Philly game. I think most owners would find it very difficult to bench Glenn, he's been hot early on. Time will tell though... I agree with you on every other point. Braylon Edwards has been a stud all year hasn't he. I remember even in game 1, he had a 70 yard TD catch, but it was called back due to a holding call.
