Fantasy Football Question ???????????

Question:

Ronnie,

Whats the deal with Carnell Williams this week? Will he play and more importantly will he play well against the Jets? If not I feel I have some strong options still available at RB, S. Jackson @ Sea or R. Johnson @ Jac (I dont really like that matchup). Who do you feel would be my best choice this week.

Thanks,Tyler (DeadHeadLion)

Response:

Cadillac Williams wore a protective boot on his left foot for the fifth straight day Friday and remains questionable for Sunday. Impact: Coach Jon Gruden indicated Williams will be a game-time decision. "He's getting better," Gruden said. "He did some things with the trainer much better than he did the previous two days. He's still questionable.Michael Pittman would get the call if Cadillac can't get out of park. I would not play him this week.

The jaguars defense against the rush allows over 130 yds per game, so the matchup for Rudi Johnson is a very good option. S.Jackson also has a favorable matchup against the seahawks, who allow 117 yds rush per game. Jackson found the endzone twice in week #4 one by a rush and another by a reception - this involvement sits well with fantasy owners. Either option is a good one. I would only lean towards Jackson this week because of the weaker seahawks defense and opportunity as a whole for the ability of the team to score a lot of points. The maximum amount of points Jacksonville has allowed by an opponent this year is 20 points.

Sincerely, Ronnie Keesee
