Fantasy Football Question ?????

Question:

Ronnie, with my QB McNabb going down, maybe for the rest of the season, what should my next step be? I have Carson Palmer to play weekly (which is a very good thing), but I could pick up Jake Plummer (or Chris Simms) to play if they have a great matchup. I am inclined to pick up Plummer now, because I feel if I wait, he won’t be available due to someone else in my league picking him up if their QB gets injured. Or should I just hold onto McNabb for now, play Carson Palmer and wait to see what happens? Thanks.

Response:

Dave Spadaro, of PhiladelphiaEagles.com, reports Philadelphia Eagles QB Donovan McNabb (hernia/groin) will meet with a specialist Thursday, Nov. 17, to go over the results of an MRI that was done Tuesday, Nov. 15. McNabb's status for the rest of the season will likely be determined during or soon after the visit.

If you can pickup Jake Plummer without dropping Mcnabb (alternative drop would be advised) that would be the best thing to do. Saying that, Mcnabb's numbers will be down regardless with both the apparent injury looming over Mcnabb and with the loss of psycho challenged T.O., it will be a different Mcnabb to say the least.

Regardless, if Mcnabb comes back healthy play Carson Palmer anyway. He is an elite qb in the nfl and a fantasy stud each week.

Sincerely, Ronnie Keesee
